Private equity & venture capital

We invest as principals, then create the value ourselves.

Greenridge Group is a private equity and venture capital firm. We invest our own capital as principals, then compound it through an in-house value-creation platform, engineering, compliance, risk, and brand under one roof. For a select group of families and founders, we run the full picture through a family-office structure, built on servant leadership and partnerships measured in decades.

The premise

Principals, not spectators.

Most of finance watches from the sidelines. The advisor recommends and moves on. The allocator writes a check and waits. The fund flips the position before the story is finished. We are built to do the opposite: we take the position with our own conviction, then do the work that decides whether it wins.

Ventures is the flagship. We back founders and companies as owners, not as a line on someone else's cap table. When we are in, our outcome and the founder's are the same outcome, and the question stops being which one do we pick and becomes how do we make this one win.

The answer is the rest of the firm. Around Ventures we kept four capabilities in-house, engineering, compliance, insurance, and media, because the things that most often decide a company's fate are the things a check cannot fix. We own the positions, and we hold them for good.

Take the positionPrincipal capital and our own conviction, not advice billed by the hour.
Compound itAn in-house operating platform, engineering, compliance, insurance, and media, that de-risks and grows every position we own.
Hold for goodNo fund clock, no five-year flip. Permanent hold, aligned with the founders and families we serve.
The platform

Six entities. One engine.

Ventures invests as principal. Technologies, L&C, Insurance, and Media are the value-creation platform. Wealth is the family office. Each entity is held directly by the parent.

Technologies

Greenridge Technologies

Builds the systems.

A frontier engineering team, forward-deployed and build-to-suit, shipping institutional-grade software for medical, financial, and legal operators, and building products and companies from zero to one. Our in-house suite runs the group before it ships to market.

Ventures

Greenridge Ventures

Private equity & venture capital.

The group's general-partner and investment-management vehicle, structured to deploy outside capital into private funds with discipline. It also convenes Valley Tech Lab, a free founder program in the Rio Grande Valley.

Wealth

Greenridge Wealth

The family office.

Discretionary and advisory management of client capital under a registered investment adviser, built around a fiduciary standard.

L&C Advisors

Greenridge L&C Advisors

Clears the terrain.

Regulatory, licensing, and compliance advisory for firms whose business depends on a regulator's approval, led by a former SEC examinations senior counsel.

Insurance

Greenridge Insurance

Manages the risk on the same balance sheet.

Risk management and wealth management belong under one roof. Commercial and family-office insurance advisory for the same clients our advisers serve, held to the same standard.

Media

Greenridge Media

Carries the ideas.

The group's media and intellectual-property arm, publishing books and ideas for builders, including Mental Models and the Startup Spotlight newsletter.

The flywheel

How it compounds.

Underridge

Built because our own investment and insurance teams needed a faster way to underwrite. It now runs deal analysis for Greenridge Wealth, Greenridge Ventures, and Greenridge Insurance, and it is available to outside operators.

CRMRidge & RidgeSocials

Built to run our own pipeline and our own marketing. They still do. They are also products.

Greenridge L&C Advisors

Exists because every business we build touches a regulator. Having that capability in-house is why we can enter markets that stop other builders, and it is available to companies operating in the same terrain.

The pattern is the same every time: build it for ourselves, prove it on ourselves, then sell it.

Governance. Each entity holds its own registrations and licenses, with risk ring-fenced at the entity level and a single chain of ownership to the parent. Separation is how we protect clients; alignment is how we serve them.

Leadership

A partner-led company.

The people who build our businesses stay on to run them, and every one of them answers to the same high standard of care.
